nearby mushroom club, nature center, museum,
or the botany department in a local college or university .
- The Mushroom Poisoning Case Registry
was established by the
Trustees of the North American Mycological Association to collect and
disseminate data on mushroom poisoning in North America.
- Reporting is voluntary and patient identity is confidential.
- Reports are desired from any and all sources,
such as
individuals, care givers, poison centers, emergency rooms, mushroom
clubs, for:
- ALL
symptomatic cases of exposure to any mushroom,
- ANY successfully treated asymptomatic incidents with known or
suspected toxic mushrooms.
