Policy on Grades of Incomplete

Grades of Incomplete can be changed to letter grades only if the incomplete work is made up by the end of the second full term beyond the term for which the grade of I is given. If the grade of I has stood for two full terms, credit can be earned only by retaking the course.  An I will always remain on a student’s record. A student can petition (PDF) to be allowed to complete an I after second full term.
