* PROFESSOR NOREEN CLARK has been named a Distinguished University Professor, the highest honor UM bestows on faculty members. Named the Myron Wegman Distinguished University Professor of Public Health, Clark will present the Distinguished University Lecture Oct. 26 on the topic 'Putting People at the Center of Solutions: Controlling Chronic Disease.' New among the dozens of courses in this year’s session are those examining CVD Epidemiology, Methods in Community-based Participatory Research, Applied Linear Regression, Survival Analysis Applied to Epidemiologic and Medical Data, Public Health Surveillance, and Bias and Its Control in Epidemiologic Research.
