2011 Atlantic Causal Inference Conference
The Atlantic Causal Inference Conference is a yearly forum for current research on detection and measurement of causality. It aims for depth rather than breadth, featuring a sequence of plenary presentations with ample discussion. Since its beginnings in 2005 as a regional meeting in New York, it has grown to draw participants from across the United States and abroad. In addition to statistics and biostatistics, such fields as computer science, economics, epidemiology, medicine, philosophy, political science and sociology are regularly represented among its participants and presenters. The 2011 conference is co-sponsored by the University of Michigan's Biostatistics and Statistics Departments.
