LateX Dissertation Templates
Below are the instructions for using the template in Unix and on a PC. The template is a slight extension of a template formerly available through the Math department and is available to us through their generosity.
Instructions to use the template in Unix:
- Click Dissertation Templates to download the tar file.
- Type the command tar -xzf thesis_template.tar.gz
- Note that this will create a new directory called Thesis_Template.
- Change directories to Thesis_Template and read the README file.
On a PC:
- Click Dissertation Templates to download the tar file.
- Double click on the icon for the tar file and follow the instructions given by Winzip to extract the files.
- Read the README file.
