Clinical Research Design and Statistical Analysis (M.S.)
Year Started: 1985 The On Job/On Campus Master's in Clinical Research Design and Statistical Analysis Program was developed to provide a means for physicians, dentists, pharmacists, pharmacologists and others who are involved in clinical research to develop expertise in research design and statistical analysis appropriate to such research while remaining in their existing employment. Providing this educational program for clinical researchers addresses two problems:
These problems reflect the increasing complexity of research, the pressure on faculty to do research and the limited education at most medical, dental and pharmacy schools about research design and statistical analysis. Since schools educating clinicians cannot be expected to include research design and statistics in the curriculum when only a small number of their students will become faculty and researchers, education designed specifically for clinical researchers is needed. *You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to view the program brochure.
