Ari Renda

Ari Renda (they/them) PhD, Career Services Associate Director

Ari leads the strategic direction of the Careers Office. They meet with SPH students, alumni, and employers; oversee program development; and facilitate career-related workshops and presentations. 

Ari has 8+ years of experience in career services and higher education and is trained in career development, wellness coaching, mental health first aid, and trauma-informed pedagogy. Ari’s goal for career services is to create inclusive and affirming environments where students experience holistic support throughout their career exploration and development process. (

Maddie HoustonMaddie Houston (she/her) M.P.A., Career Services Coordinator 

Madeline has over four years of college and career access experience. She serves as the Career Services Coordinator, meeting with students 1:1, facilitating workshops, and supporting student staff. Through earning her Master's in Public affairs, various nonprofit and government roles, she has a passion and understanding for connecting students to public serving careers. She is driven to help each student craft their professional journey and find tangible next steps. Email:

Neika WhiteNeika White (she/her), Employer Engagement Coordinator

Neika works to establish relationships between employers, students, and the School of Public Health through workshops, virtual/in-person interviews, and 1:1 meetings with students. Using the SPH Careers Gateway, Neika helps to promote job opportunities while managing the platform's accessibility to employers and students alike. 

Neika has been serving the U-M community since graduating (Go Blue!) and has 15 years of experience supporting and connecting students, staff, and faculty in a variety of ways. 

STEFANI ANDERSON, CAREER SERVICES COORDINATORStefani Anderson  (she/her), M.Ed., Career Services Coordinator

Stefani serves as Career Services Coordinator, meeting 1:1 with students, facilitating workshops, supporting student staff, and drawing insights from alumni and internship data.

Stefani has 8+ years of experience in student services and is passionate about supporting students through equipping them with the tools and resources needed to advocate for themselves in their careers and beyond. She aims to foster a supportive and inclusive environment where they can learn about themselves, their options, and how to best showcase their story. She loves partnering with students to brainstorm next steps to build fulfilling careers in public health.
