Drs. Amr Soliman, Dean Brenner, and Sofia Merajver have a strong infrastructure and funded case-control studies with several institutions in Egypt. These projects can provide student learning opportunities in the areas of genetic epidemiology of IBC, molecular epidemiology of young-onset colorectal cancer, and gene-environmental interactions in pancreatic cancer.
