Website Usage Statistics
Our web server logs gather the following information from our
users:

aol.com, if you are using an American Online account, or stanford.edu,
if you are connecting from Stanford University's domain)

- the pages you visited within the SPH site
- the files you downloaded within the SPH site

We use this information only to report aggregate website usage
statistics.

Form Data
Our site contains various user request forms which require you
to provide contact information (such as name, room number, telephone
number, and e-mail address), as well as information on your SPH
affiliation (faculty, staff or student and SPH unit). ICS help request forms also ask for information on operating
system and computer type. We use this information to:
- track and fulfill our service requests
- help diagnose problems
- bill for services rendered (if applicable)
- report data on classroom usage (room requests only)
Surveys
Our annual online surveys ask you for your SPH affiliation (faculty,
staff or student and SPH unit). E-mail address is optional. We use
survey data to gauge the effectiveness of our service areas.
