Wireless @ SPHWireless (WiFi) network connectivity is available in many areas of the School of Public Health. It is currently available only to U of M faculty, students, and staff with a valid uniqname, and to people with sponsored accounts. (Guest access is to become available on November 30, 2011). Detailed instructions on connecting to MWireless from various operating systems are available at: http://www.itcom.itd.umich.edu/wireless/connect/ (This page also has a link for setting or re-setting your AD password.) MGuest is provided for University of Michigan visitors. It is an open network, no encryption is provided by the network. It is a limited network and is treated like a non-UM network. It is available where MWireless and UM Wireless Network are available. Have questions or need additional information?ITS provides a map of WiFi network locations on campus. If you are experiencing problems connecting, or have additional questions, please contact SPH Informatics and Computing Services. You can stop by M3064 in SPH II, call 6-1247, or email sph.help@umich.edu. |
