Amy Schulz, PhD

The National Institute of Health/ NCMHD has awarded Amy Schulz a competitive supplement to the Michigan Center for Integrative Approaches to Health Disparities (PI Ana Diez Roux), P60 MD002249. The Supplement will build on current CIAHD work by expanding to the study of interventions relevant to reducing and eliminating health disparities. Specifically the project will compare the effectiveness of three strategies to maintain physical activity following a baseline intervention to increase physical activity among recipients of low-to moderate income, predominantly African American and Latino communities at high risk for obesity, hypertension, diabetes and heart disease.
