Josh Clayton is a PhD student in Epidemiology with research interests in infectious disease epidemiology, specifically respiratory pathogens such as influenza. He completed a BS in Biology from South Dakota State University in 2002, worked for the South Dakota Department of Health as a Disease Intervention Specialist before working as the state's Influenza and Bioterrorism Surveillance Coordinator, and received his MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Michigan School of Public Health in 2009. His PhD mentors are Dr Allison Aiello and Dr Matthew Boulton.
