Paul Christine received a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Spanish from Colorado State University in 2008. After graduation, Paul began his Midwestern journey at the University of Iowa, where he completed an MPH in epidemiology, and worked on projects involving intimate partner violence and rural deprivation. Following the completion of his MPH, Paul worked in Argentina as a research assistant on a multinational study of the genetic and environmental contributions to preterm birth. He is currently a dual-degree MD/PhD student in epidemiology working with Drs. Ana Diez Roux and Joseph Eisenberg on various projects based in Latin America. His interests include social epidemiologic methods, the interaction between built and social environments and health, and collaboration among the social sciences, humanities, and medicine.
