Clinical Research Coordinator

Rebecca's research includes hand hygiene interventions in the community setting and antibacterial soap use and antimicrobial resistance. In addition, she is researching the association of sexual behavior and burden of co-infection with other sexually transmitted infections using data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey on the prevalence of human papillomavirus in the U.S. female population. Rebecca previously conducted field research on the socioeconomic and behavioral factors associated with the prevalence of human immunodeficiency virus among 'survival sex workers' in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Projects:
Rebecca is the Study Coordinator for the M-FLU Study, a research project testing the effectiveness and feasibility of using non-pharmaceutical interventions to prevent the transmission of influenza.
