Sarah Lyon-Callo, MA, MS

Sarah Lyon-Callo received a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the Skidmore College as well as a Master of Arts in physical anthropology and a Master of Science in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Ms Lyon-Callo has worked in environmental and chronic disease epidemiology at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Michigan Department of Community Health for over 12 years, focussing on the application of epidemiologic methods and findings to improve public health in asthma, cancer and other chronic diseases. Ms Lyon-Callo is currently a PhD student, with interests in developing research to understand the social determinants of adverse outcomes for asthma and other chronic diseases.
