Center on Poverty, Risk, and Mental Health
The Research and Development Center on Poverty, Risk and Mental Health at the University of Michigan aims to facilitate research on the linkages between poverty and mental health in four areas: epidemiological studies of the relationships between social class and mental illness; studies on the effect of high-risk environments on child development; preventive interventions with low-income high-risk populations; the evaluation and delivery of mental health treatment and rehabilitation services to the impoverished.
