Diversity Initiatives & Support AreaThe Diversity Initiatives & Support Area of the Office of Academic Affairs is dedicated to advancing the School of Public Health’s commitment to attract, train, and engage students, faculty and staff from different backgrounds, cultures, values and perspectives. As stated in our mission, at the School of Public Health we are especially concerned with poor, often minority populations, who suffer disproportionately from illness and disability. For this reason the Diversity Initiatives and Support Area is committed to creating an environment of respect, promoting engagement, valuing diversity, and achieving excellence within the School of Public Health and beyond..
