Boundary Layer Aerosol Measurement Facility

Rupprecht & Patashnick TEOM Series 1400AB Monitor. The University of Michigan Air Quality Laboratory has established a "Boundary Layer Aerosol Measurement Facility" within the Dept. of Atmospheric, Oceanic and Space Sciences' Global Change Laboratory. As part of this endeavor, the following measurements are being made at the site, located on the University of Michigan's North Campus:

  • Continuous PM2.5 (via R&P Series 1400AB Ambient Particulate Monitor)
  • Every Six Day 24-hour PM2.5 (Hg and Trace Metals)
  • Every Six Day 24-hour PM1.0 (Trace Metals)
  • Continuous Meteorological Data

During the coming months, ambient vapor-phase measurements of the following co-pollutants will also be made:

  • Ozone
  • Sulfur Dioxide
  • Carbon Monoxide
  • NOy

The data collected using this instrumentation will be archived and presented below as it becomes available.

This data is for inspection only and cannot be used for presentations/publications without the expressed written consent of Dr. Gerald Keeler, UMAQL Director.
