Research Interest & Projects
Dr. Erdmann's research interests include molecular mechanisms underlying the relationship between breast cancer risk and environmental factors, the development of methods using nipple aspirate fluid for exposure assessment and preclinical disease detection, and spatial analysis methods. Her research projects include the study of breast cancer in both Marin County, California and Brazil. Dr. Erdmann also is a co-investigator in the Breast Cancer and Environment Research Center network.
