Faculty & ResearchFor more than a century, the University of Michigan has distinguished itself in both teaching and research in public health, carrying out pathbreaking work in areas as diverse as vaccine research and atmospheric transport of pollutants, public health genetics and problems of the uninsured. We aspire to be a crossroads of knowledge from the biological, physical, social, and managerial sciences, developing a holistic understanding of the health of populations and creating viable approaches to solving their problems.
