It may appear that science is headed toward genetic selection of children, organ farms, or embryonic research, without being adequately engaged or aware of the ethical, legal, and social implications. You can help ensure future public health professionals are trained in the biology, technology, applications, responsibilities, and issues of genetic information which will play an increasing role in our understanding of health and disease.
