Self-Study Guide

This self-study guide provides an outline of practical and evaluative steps that an institution may find helpful in developing a curriculum in Public Health Genetics. This guide describes the development of the public health genetics program initiated in September 1996 at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Although it is written with specific reference to schools of public health (SPH), it is applicable to many academic settings (e.g., nursing, social work, or law) where there is an interest in expanding curricular offerings in human genetics.
