Education
The Center for Public Health and Community Genomics supports programs and activities related to genomics education in various settings. Through a Science Education Partnership Award, the Center is working to further K-12 student and community understanding of genomics and the potential implications for individual and community health. The Center is also committed to community education through involvement with Genomics, Community, and Equity: A Continuing Dialogue and a community engagement website. Additionally, Center activities support higher education through the Public Health Genetics Interdepartmental Concentration (PHGIC) within the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
