  Six Weeks to Genomic Awareness, a free, self-paced online course, builds a foundation for understanding genomic advances and identifying the relevance of genomics to public health. This course has been available since September 2005. Since that time, 381 participants have taken the course, the majority of whom were from the academic, governmental, and health care sectors.
