Ctools for Alumni

Ctools is the course and project management system for University of Michigan. It is available to both UM students and faculty, as well as non-UM affiliated users. In a class setting, Ctools allows UM students and faculty to access resources, make announcements, hold online class discussions, and much more.

The HBHE Alumni Ctools site provides our alumni with HBHE resources such as course syllabi and readings. At the moment the Ctools site is a work in progress. We will be adding additional resources over time.

To access the Ctools Site:

1. Send an email, requesting access to hbhe.alumni@umich.edu.
   Include your name, email, and Year of graduation.
2. You will then need to create a login with your email and a password.
1. Go to the UM Friend account setup page at: https://friend.weblogin.umich.edu/friend/
2. Enter an email address. Be sure this is the same email address that was added for you at the CTools site.
3. The UMICH system will send you an email to that email address. Open that email and follow the instructions to set a Friend account password.
4. Once your password is set, you can log into CTools using your email address as your Login ID, and the password you just created.
