- Description: Analysis of current organizational arrangements and patterns for
provision and financing of medical care services in the United
States. Topics include the medical care process and factors which
affect need, access and use of services; factors affecting supply and
distribution of health professionals and health facilities, and current
issues pertinent to these health care services; factors related to
health care costs; quality assessment and assurance; and financing of
care through health insurance and governmental programs.
