Aftermath: The Psychological Toll of Terror-- Epidemiologist Sandro Galea is finding that for countless of victims of disaster, it's not the event itself that wounds, but what comes later. Fieldwork on the Gulf Coast: 40 SPH students from PHAST (Public Health Action and Support Team) spent spring break boosting the Katrina-ravaged health infrastructure. One said, War's Lessons: Physician, medical director, and Brigadier General Dean Sienko, M.S. '89, is using his experience in the U.S. Army Reserves to teach his public health colleagues and students what it means to be prepared.
