Professional Summary
Dr. Myers' research examines diversity in healthcare organizations, focusing on the role that organizational culture and values play in improving workforce and patient outcomes. Another line of research examines the role of spirituality in workforce development and its potential to improve quality. Myers' international experience includes cross-cultural strategic planning and realignment in Accra, Ghana; and spirituality and workforce development in Durban, South Africa.
Dr. Myers is a member of the Griffith Leadership Center Steering Committee and its Lifelong Learning subcommittee. She is Chair of the Case Competition Committee and is the faculty advisor for the Case Analysis & Competition Preparation course. 2007 marks the third consecutive year that HMP students won 1st place at the National Association for Health Services Executives (NAHSE) Case Competition.
