EventJDRF Diabetes Today and Tomorrow Conference and ExhibitsBreaking Down Barriers...Diabetes, the Family DiseaseMay 12, 2012 More Information: http://www.jdrfcares.org/ConferenceRegistration 5th annual JDRF Diabetes Today and Tomorrow Conference and Exhibits - hear the latest in research, treatment advances, and care strategies from a collection of internationally recognized experts. Sessions will start at 8:30am beginning with keynote presentations from Irl B. Hirsch, MD; Professor of Medicine, University of Washington School of Medicine, Seattle, WA and Darlene C. Deecher, PhD; SVP of Research for JDRF, New York, NY. Morning and afternoon concurrent sessions will include topics such as hypoglycemia management, cardiovascular issues, parenting help, discrimination in the work place, diabetes and pregnancy plus special guest speakers. Concurrent sessions offer beginner and advanced level content! A box lunch is provided, and luncheon keynote speaker is Gary Scheiner, MS, CDE; Integrated Diabetes Services, Wynnewood, PA. We will again offer our JDRF Kids Camp for children aged 5-12 with type 1 diabetes. Conference Attendance and JDRF Kids Camp are both provided free of charge but you must register. |
