Benefits
There are three different kinds of benefits that you get from participating in the M-FLU Study.
At the most basic level, you will receive a participant payment for your part in the M-FLU Study. Participants in the Control group will receive $40, and participants in the 2 intervention groups (Face Mask Only; Face Mask and Hand Hygiene) will receive $100 upon completion of the study.
Participants will also have a unique opportunity to learn about public health and intervention research by taking part in the M-FLU study.
And, most importantly, all participants can contribute to research that has the potential to guide national pandemic preparedness policies.
As global citizens, we all have a responsibility to protect and
maintain public health. Participants in the M-FLU Study are responding
to the call for responsible global citizenship by contributing to research that
may ultimately help guide the development of national policies for pandemic preparedness.
M-FLU Study participants work to make the US and the
world a safer, healthier place for us all.
