Opening a Blank Presentation
Consider outlining your presentation and developing the slide content prior to creating the style of the slides, etc.
When you first open PowerPoint, the right-hand pane of the screen will list the options for creating a new presentation. Start by selecting Blank Presentation [1] from the New Presentation menu on the right. This will create the first, blank slide in your presentation.
