Animating Slide Transitions

To animate the transition from one slide to another, click the Slideshow dropdown menu [1] and choose Slide Transitions.  The right-hand pane will change to show the transitions available [2]. 

To apply a transition to a slide, first click on the slide on the left-hand pane.  If you want to apply the transition to multiple slides, hold down the control (ctrl) key on your keyboard while you select multiple slides by clicking on them.  Once you have selected your slides, choose the transition you would like to apply from the right-hand pane[3]. When you click on an effect, the center-pane will show you what it will look like during the slideshow.
