Animating Text

To animate the text within a slide, click the Slide Show drop-down menu [1] and select Custom Animation. The right-hand pane will change to show the options available for custom animations [2].  If you would like to apply the animation to all of your bullet points, select the text box by simply clicking once anywhere on the text.  To apply an animation only to specific bullet point, use your mouse to highlight the text you want effected.

Choose the animation you would like to apply from the Add Effect drop-down menu in the right-hand pane [1].  Choose Entrance and then More Effects to see all of the entrance effects available.  When you click on an animation, the center-pane will show you what it will look like during the slideshow.

After selecting an animation, you may have the option of customizing that animation. Depending on the animation you have chosen, the right-hand pane will now show options for setting when the animation will Start, the Direction in which the animation move, and the Speed of the animation [1].
