Table Design View

Choose to open the new table in Design View (1).

Why choose Design View? Design View allows you to design every detail of your new table. Datasheet View is much better suited for viewing, entering and editing data.  You could also use the Table Wizard to create a new table, but doing so will not give you a good understanding of how tables work.
