Rx for Survival: A Global Health Challenge' on PBS features SPH faculty commentary.

ANN ARBOR, Mich.--Beginning November 1, 2005, on Michigan Television, UM SPH faculty will discuss episodes of PBS's "Rx for Survival: A Global Health Challenge." The six-part PBS series was filmed in more than 20 countries around the world and
tells the stories of global health champions and their communities. In episodes two and
six, SPH faculty member Howard Markel is among those interviewed.
Michigan Television has produced interstitial segments that will air at station breaks
during "Rx for Survival" on channel 28 (digital channel 52) in southeast and
mid-Michigan. In these interstitials, host Todd Mundt explores local, national, and
international public health issues with members of UM SPHfaculty.
