News ReleaseCall for entries: Orginal works of art for the University of Michigan School of Public Health March 22, 2007 UM SPH release The University of Michigan has engaged Greater Flint Arts Council (GFAC) to commission original works of art for the new School of Public Health Building. Artists are sought working in indoor and outdoor sculpture and moderate size to mural painters. Artists should contact GFAC for more information (www.greaterflintartscouncil.org). “We are very excited to be working with the University of Michigan,” states Greg Fiedler, President and CEO of Greater Flint Arts Council. “We have developed a close relationship through collaborative programs with UM-Flint for many years including the Tunes at Noon Festival and the Green Arts Project.” Funding for this project was made possible by the Ruth Mott Foundation in Flint, Michigan.
