At the American Public Health Association annual meeting in December 2005:

  • Professor Betsy Foxman delivered the Epidemiology Section's esteemed Wade Frost Hampton lecture, which she titled 'Tales of Transmission.' 

  • Professor Barbara Israel of HBHE was honored by the Society of Public Health Education as a Distinguished Fellow.
