The deadline for applications is March 14th. An acknowledgement of your application will be sent shortly after its receipt, and you will have an opportunity to provide missing documents. Please do not contact the Population Fellows Programs to check on your application before March 21st.

A completed application includes the following:

  • The application form, which can be opened and printed from this Web site using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Please click here to download the GAP Mini-Grant Application.*
  • Your most recent official graduate transcript plus a list of courses currently being taken. Please do not send earlier transcripts unless they demonstrate relevant career preparation not otherwise shown.
  • Two letters of reference, which may be submitted directly by the writers by mail or e-mail, or sealed by the writers and forwarded by the applicant.
  • A letter or e-mail from your host agency confirming that your internship will involve family planning activities and briefly describing how the host agency will benefit from your activities.
  • A current cv or resume.

Members of minority groups are encouraged to apply.

* You will need Adobe's Acrobat Reader to open the application. If you do not have Acrobat Reader, you may download it for free from Adobe's Web site by clicking here and following the instructions on that page.
