If you’re an MSI undergraduate interested in helping people around the world plan the families -- and futures -- they dream of, you have already met one of the most important criteria for our programs.

Applicants for our undergraduate internships must also be:

  • Upper-level students at a qualifying MSI with a minimum of a 2.8 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. This includes individuals who are incoming juniors and seniors as well as those who have just graduated as of the start of the internship.
  • U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
  • Available for the summer internship period (roughly May 20 – August 15).

Students from any field of study are invited to apply.

It’s important to note that these are the minimum requirements. The application process is selective, based on recommendations; work or volunteer experience; grades; and most importantly, interest in international family planning, reproductive health, and population-environment.
