MSI graduate interns tend to be based at USAID or in the U.S. offices of international nongovernmental organizations like CARE, which can expose interns both to the varied players in international family planning and population-environment and also to rich content in specific areas. Internship assignments are made by Population Fellows Programs’ staff who develop positions to match interns’ specific skills and interests.
