The Multimedia Lab was created out of a partnership between the Public Health Library & Informatics Division and ITCS to support the creation of multimedia projects by SPH faculty, staff, and students in order to enhance their teaching, learning, and research at the University of Michigan.

The Multimedia Lab is located at the east end of the Public Health Library.

Hours

Monday – Friday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
These are the hours in which a library staff member is available to assist with using the resources in the Multimedia Lab; the lab itself is open when the library is open.

Available Resources

The Multimedia Lab has four Pentium 4 Dell Optiplex GX270 PCs. In addition to the software listed on the Campus Computing Sites Available Software page, the following software is loaded on these computers:

  • Net Drive 4.1
  • Unsealed 4.0.1.4.2

Also available in the lab:

  • Two Fujitsu 4220C2 Scanners
  • Three LaserJet 4300dtn Printers
