What is SiteMaker?UM.SiteMaker is a University-wide system that makes it easier to turn your ideas and information into web sites. It allows you to incorporate SPH web site design elements into your web pages. All web design is done through simple graphical user interfaces, although HTML code can be used if desired. SiteMaker allows you to limit access to your site to individuals of your choosing, or make your site accessible to anyone on the World Wide Web. You can use your SiteMaker site as a file server, upload and download files, and limit access to your files. It is an excellent solution for groups that want to share files and information. SiteMaker also features data tables, which allow you to create data-entry forms, as well as to display data in list form. Sitemaker sites can also be used as professional web sites for UM SPH faculty, staff, and research projects. |
