'Calculation to Communication' UMRSC Inaugural Symposium, Sept 15-16, 2005
Promoting informed decision-making about health risks.
'Calculation to Communication' was a gathering of leaders involved in risk assessment and communication. The symposium was designed to:
- examine the intersection of health research, policy, the role of the media, and public concerns
- address some of the most pressing contemporary questions of human health
- and explore how risk assessment is accomplished, now and for the future.
More than 500 people attended the Inaugural Symposium at Rackham Auditorium in Ann Arbor.
