Gift positions U-M as national leader in
studying risks to public health
A recent $5 million gift from Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gelman established an endowed professorship for the UMRSC Director and provides for the addition of two new faculty in the coming years. Scholarship support for graduate students is also provided and complements the summer fellowship program and the Risk Science Master's in Public Health curriculum.
