We wish to congratulate Center Director, Dr. David Garabrant on his retirement in July 2007 and are happy to report that he continues his active engagement in the Center as Professor Emeritus in Environmental Health Sciences and Founding Director.
We welcome Susan Johnson who has joined the Center in the newly created role of Managing Director. She will coordinate research functions for the Center.
We wish to extend a warm welcome to Dr. Elisabete Salay, visiting scholar from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Brasil FEA/UNICAMP. Support for Dr. Salay is provided by a fellowship from the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Ensino Superior administered by the Brazilian Department of Education.
