The role of the RWHIC has grown to not only serve the cohorts of students admitted to the IC, but to become a active facilitator and partner in the development of courses, events, internships, and collaborations on reproductive and women's health that contribute to the entire school and wider university campus.

We are exploring ways to continue to add value to your participation in the RWHIC and we welcome your participation in this growth. We hope you will consider taking the three simple steps to actively contributing to and benefiting from the promotion of reproductive and women's health at the University of Michigan School of Public Health:

1. Keep us posted about the developments in your life!

An RWHIC alumni email group has been created. Please phone (734)936-1257, or email (pnmenard@umich.edu) anytime to make sure you are included, with updates regarding where you live or work, important events in your life, or to provide your thoughts and ideas. We love to receive digital pictures, too, and will only use them in materials if given permission on a release form.

2. Speak with current students and come to our events!

Your insights, advice, and experience can be a great resource to our students, whether it is about making the most out of graduate school, or an area of reproductive and women's health you are working in. Drop us a word if you would be available to correspond with students, or are coming to town and could speak with students or give a presentation. You are also always invited to attend events on campus.

3. Contribute ideas, opportunities and, of course, money!

When you encounter internship and job opportunities, or think of ways to improve the education of public health professionals in reproductive and women's health issues, we will put them to good use.

If you are passionate about family planning, breast cancer and chronic diseases, HIV/AIDS, pregnancy and childbirth, domestic violence, the health of minority women, or other issues relating to reproduction and the unique physiological and sociological health realities faced by women, a great way to make a difference is through the RWHIC.

Did you know that when giving to the University of Michigan School of Public Health you can designate your donation to go to the RWHIC, or for internships to students in reproductive and women's health. Please check out the website for giving to the School of Public Health and consider improving human wellbeing through a gift to the RWHIC.
