What were the rewards/challenges of working in government?
While I utilized government as an effective force, the greatest reward was making an impact upon the greater public health issues.
The challenges I faced were the public/governmental entities that had a difficult time understanding the public health role and impact on every walk of life. The efforts to educate/advocate were often very time consuming and difficult in government.
