Graduates' Survey

In the summer of 2005, Dr. Lichtenstein published a paper in the Journal of Health Administration Education entitled: "Promoting Diversity in Health Management: The University of Michigan Experience." This paper reports the results of a survey of SEP alumni who were in the program between 1986 and 2003.

The paper includes data on the types of graduate education these alumni received, as well as the types of professional jobs they have had since participating in the SEP.

There is a 2010 alumni survey underway to collect more data on the educational experiences and career paths of SEP alumni.  Results are expected by spring of 2011- in time for the Sep 25th reunion and symposium on diversity and inclusion as they relate to health organizations’ effectiveness in serving low-income populations of color.
