Friends of Parkside is a 501(c)(3) grassroots organization based in the Villages at Parkside, formerly Parkside Homes, a public housing development, on Detroit's eastside. FOP provides programs and
services for youth and families, a computer learning center, health and safety projects, and linkages for residents to employment and personal enrichment opportunities. Friends Of Parkside was founded in 1991.
