The primary mission of the School of Nursing is to promote the health and well being of the people of Michigan, the nation, and the world, by educating nurses for leadership and practice roles in health care, by contributing to the development of a scientific body of knowledge, and by providing service. The School of Nursing offers both human resources and programs in the following areas: Acute, Critical, and Long-Term Care, Health Promotion and Risk Reduction, Nursing and Health Care Systems Administration, Policy, and Informatics.
